Die neue Produktion “Grenzland” der Tanzkompanie DAGADA unter künstlerischer Leitung von Karolin Stächele hat das Ziel, den Blick, mit dem die Gesellschaft auf andere Kulturen schaut, zu schärfen und problematisiert eingewurzelte Vorstellungen von kultureller Überlegenheit.
Das Stück sensibilisiert für Konflikte mit denen Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Kulturen und in fremden Umgebungen täglich konfrontiert werden.
“Grenzland” is not meant to offer solutions, but to highlight conflict as a daily challenge for people with different cultural backgrounds, who are living in a foreign environment,
sagt die Freiburger Tänzerin und Choreografin Karolin Stächele.
Die Künstler der DAGADA dance company kommen aus verschiedenen Ländern, u.a. Griechenland, Mali, Italien, USA, Gabun, England and Guinea.
Die Tanzkompanie hat eine crowdfunding Kampagne unter https://www.startnext.com/grenzland gestartet, da sie trotz Unterstützung von mehreren Sponsoren noch finanzielle Hilfe zur Realisierung braucht and freut sich, wenn möglichst viele mehr über das Projekt erfahren und so mitwirken, dass sie das nötige Finanzierungsziel von €3200 erreichen
Dazu, sagt sie:
“Crowd funding, if you don’t already know, is a great way of building community and raising awareness. You can pledge using a credit or debit card to the campaign and if enough of us come together and we hit our target then we get the cash we need. What do you get in return? Great rewards of course, in the form of one off interactions, exclusive collector items and experiences with our cast.”
